The last days: Top10 and Go West!

Hey guys,

since Tuesday I am back in Germany and now I find some time to tell you about the tournament and the last days on our journey to the east. I got number 10 of Europe. In an outstanding tough draw I won u a versus Russia (number 4) and Ukraine. And just lost versus the two finalists from Russia and Georgia Let’s go for a medal in Poland at the worlds in September. I think the place number 10 sounds not so spectacular but the fights were great. This are the Top10:

SENIOR MEN RIGHT 70 KG
1. ABUTIDZE, ALEKS. GEORGIA;
2. GEORGIY, HUBAEV. RUSSIA;
3. MAMAMTAVRISHVILI, KOBA. GEORGIA;
4. ZAUR, SAITOV. RUSSIA;
5. VOJENCAK, JAN. SLOVAKIA;
6. VIOREL, DOBRIN. ROMANIA;
7. ARSLAN, SERHAT. TURKEY;
8. TERZI, ENGIN. TURKEY;
9. LIEPINS, RAIMONDS. LATVIA;
10. SCHLITTE, MATTHIAS. GERMANY;

After the matches I pulled with the legend from Turkey Engin Terzi (and all other wrestlers :-/ ) at the warm up-table. So my arms are completly done. After the finals we drank some beer with the team from Romania and went to the discothek of the Aqua Park. There we celebrated the Europeans till dawn. On Sunday we drove a little hangover to Warsaw, where we met the Polish top-armwrestler Mariusz Podgorski for dinner. We got some good advices for our sideseeing-tour. On Monday we checked out the beautiful old town of the Polish capitol. After this tour we drove at the nice Polish motorways back to Germany.

Thanks for your crossed fingers, support and reading of the travel-blog.
